When someone says that a transformation has occurred within a community, they ordinarily mean some sort of positive change. Unfortunately, throughout much of District 35 "the transformation" is far from positive. A politician did not have to tell me about the 20+ year regression in parts of our District - I have experienced it. I am not on the outside looking in. This is my community, too.

From my experience as a prosecutor for the City of Atlanta, I have been able to help clean up neighborhoods from criminal activity and various code violations. One case in particular resulted in twelve area banks donating its interest in an apartment complex to create affordable housing for seniors. As District 35's State Senator, I will continue to fight for effective legislation which does not rest itself on the backs of taxpayers.

Every move of progress starts with a solid foundation. There are no shortcuts to true success. The time is NOW for positive RESULTS. Join me in the business of getting things done.

Together, we are District 35. Communities That Thrive.

"Coming together is a beginning.
 Keeping together is progress.
  Working together is success."
- Henry Ford
